We recently spent a week near the North Fork of the South Branch of the Potomac River In West Virginia fly fishing for rainbow, brown, and golden trout. We caught plenty of sunfish and had great luck catching trout with a small white dry flies in the shallow waters of the river.
This is a great site!
You know who people complain about the rain, but fly fisherman realize that we need the water to drop a few degrees and the water level to rise so the action will pick up again. Right now is a great time to be out there. Besides, fish don’t get wet in the rain…
