“My brother in law and I had the pleasure of fishing with Mike and Shane this past weekend. We fished Wheatley lake in Charles County. Weather was breezy and cool but dry. We hadn’t been fly fishing in several years, , so we were kind of rusty, but Mike and Shane took the time to explain the basics. They showed up how to tie the important knots and critiqued our casting technique. They even provided a very informative booklet to take home with us.“
“After that, we started fishing – working from just outside the visitor center to the dam on the South side of the lake. There were plenty of fish feeding on the surface, but we weren’t able to convince them. Shane caught a nice Bluegill shortly after we started but it was slow after that. Nonetheless, we had a great time and I look forward to another trip soon. This is a great experience for anyone, from beginners to experts.”
